About the paintings

All of the images tagged 'work' below have infantility, stupidity, un-craft, un-taste, hamfisted-ness, crass-ness, superficiality etc built in. They are about nothing and for nothing, a celebration of the ingenu. They are made with household paint and materials normally associated with repair and maintenance. Some of them will not, cannot dry. Some of the forms are realised by pouring, dribbling, spilling. The titles are invented after the images are made. The paintings have taken different amounts of time to complete and some of them have been manipulated slightly before being uploaded.
